Kristin Cunningham, PMHNP - BC

Meet Kristin Cunningham, a passionate mental health provider at our Interpersonal Psychiatry Topeka location. She has over 15 years of experience working in various roles in mental health. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She is board certified in psychiatric care for individuals across the lifespan and is especially enthusiastic about providing mental healthcare for children and adolescents. She is LGBTQ+/kink/polyamory affirming and strives to provide care that is sensitive to the intersectionality of her clients’ diverse experiences. She provides a safe space to explore wellness and collaborates to find the medications that can support a better quality of life. She oversees the TMS Program as well as the IV Ketamine and Spravato Services for treatment resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD and other mental health conditions.  Patient approach: Informed Consent, Racial Equity, Sex Positive, Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Health At Every Size (HAES) Populations served: "I serve all humans across the live span including: Bipocs, Kinky, LGBTQIA+, Nerodiverse People, Poly, Transgender, and Trauma Survivors".
